My journey
Bonjour, my name is Rachel. I am a native French speaker, originally from Central France, where I grew up, before moving to the UK over 30 years ago.
I am a Chartered Linguist and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) London.
Following a 20-year career in international relations, marketing and telecommunications regulation, I decided to devote the rest of my professional life to using and sharing my knowledge of the French and English languages, and since 2019, I have worked both:
-
as a professional, fully qualified chartered translator, accredited by CIOL to provide certified translations, and registered with the Consulate General of France in London
-
as a qualified teacher of French as a foreign language.
